I find it most disheartening that any organisation, charity or government be it national or international, such as the UN Agencies have not clamoured to seek the information in this Initiative. One commentator has suggested that the Initiative is too difficult for single issue organisations to fully appreciate let alone understand... I say "humbug" that is why I now call it the Mars Bar of Gingerbread Initiative. And this is the challenge...It is to shame all G20 Citizen's into obtaining a free copy of this Initiative in their own language, to read and assimilate its contents. Argue about it and then work together to hassle all G20 citizens to support it unconditionally. Wow what an opportunity or are we just going to continue to continue to read weekly about the debacle of REDD, greed, stupidity of governments and individuals who literally cannot see the wood for the trees, in REDD Monitor and become deeply depressed and verging on the suicidal.
