I just got word from one of my friends that someone who's just come back from China is kicking up a big interest on carbon trading in the valley. So I would like someone to enlighten me on how this carbon trade is supposed to work and how it is set up, the major risks and benefits, who should be involved in the consultation process and sign-off etc. I would like to use this information to explain to my tribe what it is all about before they make any decisions. The reporting from PNG seems either political or bias and is not as it has turned out accurate, what does chicken fighting and horse training have to do with the progress of developing Carbon Trading.
